HAPPENSTANCE PROJECT

The Happenstance Project regroups a collection of photos I have taken over the years. The idea behind this project comes directly from process all these pictures were created.

These are not planned photoshoots, they are first of all social encounters, conversations, debates and long stralls, that incitiate a creative spark. I want to first create a dialogue with the subject, offering a space of expression, where they can not only influence their environment but also be shaped by it in return.

Time, locations and people vary, but the essence of these pictures lies in the delicate balance between the longing to create and the chances of failure.

All the pictures are shot on film.
